The TexasDepartment of State Health Services is thelatest successor (after the Texas Department of Health was abolished in 2004)in a line of health-related state agencies that served asthe state's primaryagency for public health planning, services, and regulation. Records consist oforganizational charts of the Texas Department of State Health Services,2005-2006, that graphically illustrate the structure of various organizational units within the Department.
